The Grand Junction Police Department continues its efforts to locate missing 23-year-old, James Moen. Extensive searches continue by personnel from the Grand Junction Police Department, Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, and Rangers with the Colorado National Monument, including multiple drone deployments and ground crew searches.
James was last seen on January 9, 2024, at approximately 4:00 a.m. entering the east entrance of the Colorado National Monument. His last known location is between mile marker 11 and mile marker 12 on Rim Rock Drive. Despite ongoing efforts, James Moen has not yet been located.
James was last seen driving a 2003 black Nissan Maxima with Colorado license plates CCZ-C40. James is 5’ 4”, 250-pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
