On February 11, 2025, at approximately 8:35 p.m., officers responded to the Loves Truck Stop, located at 748 22 Road, for a two-vehicle crash. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a white semi-truck crashed into the side of another semi-truck causing it to flip over. The Grand Junction Fire Department transported both drivers to the hospital to be evaluated.
The driver, Joseph Kelly (age 62), was arrested and remanded to the Mesa County Detention Facility for DUI and Careless Driving. There is no further information available at this time.
