First responders from the Grand Junction Police Department and Grand Junction Fire Department responded to the area of I70B and Harmony Road for a vehicle vs pedestrian crash on 12/06/24, at approximately 10:45 p.m. A vehicle traveling westbound on I70B struck a pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian sustained serious bodily injury and was transported to the hospital by the Grand Junction Fire Department. All westbound lanes of I70B in the area of Harmony Road will be closed for several hours and eastbound travel in the same area will be delayed as law enforcement remains on scene.
Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the crash at this time. This incident remains under investigation and there is no further information available.
