On March 15, 2025, at approximately 2:15 p.m., first responders with the Grand Junction Police Department and the Grand Junction Fire Department responded to Hair We Are,2518 Broadway for a vehicle versus building crash. When officers arrived on scene, they found a truck had driven over the sidewalk and through the front of the business causing minor structural damage. Alcohol and speed were not a factor. The Grand Junction Fire Department transported one patient to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, Lisa Stansbury, age 69, was issued a ticket for Careless Driving Causing Bodily Injury.
