Grand Junction, CO - On December 17, 2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a harassment call at Walmart, located at 2881 North Avenue.
Officers learned an adult male was in the parking lot, behaving aggressively and harassing store employees and customers. When officers attempted to contact the individual, he became physically combative and began assaulting officers.
The suspect was ultimately taken into custody with charges pending. Two officers sustained injuries during the encounter and were transported to a local hospital for evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries.
