The Grand Junction Police Department and Grand Junction Fire Department responded to a report of a semi-truck crash in the area of I70 mile marker 31 on 01/11/24, at approximately 9:10 p.m. Officers discovered a semi-truck traveling westbound had crossed the median, crashed and rolled onto its side, blocking all eastbound lanes. There were no injuries, and the cause of the crash is under investigation. Eastbound lanes were closed for several hours as first responders worked to clear diesel fuel which had spilled onto the roadway from the semi-truck. Lanes were reopened at approximately 5:20 a.m. this morning. There is no further information available at this time.
