Our Records and Data Management Unit is staffed by eight full time employees who are the keepers of all criminal justice records maintained by our agency. They are responsible for the processing, maintaining, archiving, retrieving, and releasing of information and copies of reports in accordance with federal and state regulation. Each employee is master certified by the Colorado Certified Records Network and attends 12 hours of training on Colorado Open Records Law each year. In addition, the division provides customer service and support to citizens, department members, and other law enforcement agencies.
