Make your utility payment directly to a Customer Service Representative located in the City Hall lobby, at 250 N 5th Street. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5 pm.
Pay your utility bill over the phone by calling 970-255-2323. Our automated phone system is available 24-hours a day. There is a processing fee of $1.99 per transaction.
There is no need to write a check, buy postage stamps or drive to the nearest drop box to pay your utility bill each month. Sign up for our Automatic Draft Program, so your City utility bill payment will be automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account each month, at no additional cost to you.

Going grocery shopping? The City has the following utility payment drop boxes located in many grocery stores around town:
- 630 24 Road (near Mesa Mall)
- 569 32 Road (Clifton)
- 2770 Highway 50 S (Orchard Mesa)
- 2901 Patterson Road (Fruitvale)
- 681 Horizon Drive (north)
Note: Grocery store drop boxes are picked up on Thursdays.

When using drop boxes you need an envelope, but no postage is required. Make checks payable to the City of Grand Junction. No cash payments in drop boxes please! On-time payments in drop boxes only.
We are happy to make payment arrangements with the owner of the property. Because the owner is ultimately responsible for any unpaid utility charges, we are unable to make arrangements with a renter unless authorized by the landlord or property management company. Please call 970-244-1579.
