Pedestrian Bicycle Plan
In 2023, City Council adopted the Pedestrian & Bicycle Plan, which affirms a vision for a safe, connected, and well-maintained network that conveniently accommodates people of all ages and abilities.
This is one component of the Circulation Plan which established guidelines for how our public streets and roadways should accommodate pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists, movers of goods, and transit; and should be safe and navigable for all users. It must provide transportation options to all users including those with limited mobility such as children, seniors, and persons with disabilities.
One outcome of the Pedestrian and Bike Plan is a renewed emphasis on education for all travelers on our public streets. Check out CDOT's Bicycle Manual and the CIty's Driver's Guide.
