Youth Fire Intervention is a program designed to educate children and parents about fire safety and the consequences of fire. Each family meets individually with a trained fire service educator. The educator will discuss the situation with the family and provide fire safety education. If a child needs additional intervention, such as counseling, the educator can link the family up with these services. Fire department services are free.
All classes are held at the Fire Administration Building, which is located at:
625 Ute Avenue
Grand Junction, CO 81501
