Grand Junction, CO – At approximately 1:19 p.m., the Grand Junction Fire Department (GJFD) responded to reports of a motorcycle on fire at the Rio Grande Federal Credit Union located at 745 Rood Avenue. The fire originated on the motorcycle and spread to a nearby vehicle and a tree bordering the parking lot. The fire was contained in the parking lot and did not threaten any nearby structures. No injuries were reported.
The Grand Junction Police Department assisted with scene safety and traffic control. The origin and cause of the fire are under investigation.
