GJPD Investigating Serious Motorcycle Crash

The motorcyclist was air flighted to a hospital on the Eastern Slope, and despite life-saving efforts, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. The Mesa County Coroner’s Office will be responsible for releasing the identity of the deceased once appropriate notifications have been made. The investigation into this crash remains ongoing, and there is no additional information available at this time.

Grand Junction, CO - On November 3, 2025, at approximately 5:35 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a report of a motorcycle versus vehicle crash at the intersection of 29 Road and D 1/2 Road.

Officers learned that a vehicle traveling southbound on 29 Road was rear-ended by a motorcycle at the intersection. Officers performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the motorcyclist until the Grand Junction Fire Department arrived and transported the rider to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

This crash remains under investigation, and there is no additional information available at this time.
