On 10/08/24, at approximately 3:40 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian crash at N 7th Street and Elm Avenue. A vehicle driving northbound on N 7th Street struck a 14-year-old juvenile crossing the roadway in a crosswalk. The juvenile was transported by the Grand Junction Fire Department to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver in this crash was charged with Careless Driving Resulting in Injury. There is no additional information available at this time.
