The City of Grand Junction will host the 4th of July fireworks display this year at the newly renovated Lincoln Park stadium beginning at 9:45 p.m. on Monday, July 4, 2022. The game on July 4th is expected to end between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. due to the earlier start time of 4:05 p.m. and will be followed by family-friendly entertainment until the fireworks show begins.

The fireworks will be shot off at Lincoln Park and the show can be viewed from the park or anywhere in the Grand Junction area.

Recognizing the impact of the noise fireworks can have on those living in the areas surrounding the stadium, the City has worked closely with the GJ Rockies to move the starting time of the game to earlier on Monday, July 4 starting at 4:05 p.m., which will ensure that the fireworks are shot off at dusk around 9:45 p.m.

In addition to a game on Monday night prior to the July 4th fireworks show, the Grand Junction Rockies will also play at Lincoln Park Stadium today Thursday, June 30, which begins their homestand that runs through Monday. Games on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will begin at 6:35 p.m., and the game on Sunday, July 3 will begin at 3:35 p.m.

Each year, neighbors of Lincoln Park are notified of all five scheduled fireworks shows at Lincoln Park presented by the City of Grand Junction, the Grand Junction Rockies, the Junior College World Series, and Colorado Mesa University.
