The City is pleased to announce that the major renovations to the Lincoln Park Stadium have been completed in time for the 2022 Junior College World Series (JUCO).

“Once the community packs into Suplizio Field for another JUCO, I believe everyone will be thrilled with the drastic improvements that have been made”, said City of Grand Junction Mayor Anna Stout. “The City is grateful to be joined by three major partners that are as committed to quality of life in Grand Junction as we are.”

The City of Grand Junction, JUCO, Colorado Mesa University and Mesa County Valley School District 51 are all major capital contributors on the project. Improvements include new northern bleachers along the third base line and seat backs behind home plate at Suplizio Field, new western bleachers at Stocker Stadium, new LED lighting throughout, electrical upgrades, IT upgrades, and upgrades to the southwest and northwest entryways. The total project cost was $11.6 million, which includes additional City contributions to fund the LED lighting at a cost of $1.2 million. These renovations will increase the overall longevity, quality, and functionality of the Stadium for our active and growing community.
