Front Cover 2022 Winter and Spring Activity Guide

Stay active, get involved, and start your year off right with Grand Junction Parks & Recreation! The 2022 Winter-Spring Activity Guide is now available! The guide includes information on services, programs, special events, and numerous ways for the community to enjoy their parks and recreation system. Grand Junction Parks & Recreation has implemented new programming, pool memberships, and additional services. Readers can also learn about all the amazing city parks, trails, and facilities. 

A copy of the new guide was mailed to Grand Junction residents, but can also be viewed online at gjparksandrec.org. Registration is also available online. The 2022 Winter-Spring Activity Guide can also be picked up from the Parks & Recreation office at 1340 Gunnison Avenue in Lincoln Park.

Programming

This season, a handful of new programs are being offered, including intro to mountain biking, the Grand Junction Rapids Swim Club, and training for those interested in becoming a sports official. Parks & Recreation offers a wide variety of recreational programming for all ages and abilities. More traditional programming includes yoga, drop-in sports, swim lessons, and adult and youth volleyball. 

Now Offering Pool Memberships

New this year, residents can purchase lower cost annual membership to enjoy the Orchard Mesa Pool and the Lincoln Park-Moyer Pool. Memberships can be paid monthly or annually. Membership options include a youth pass (ages 3-17), adult pass (ages 18-59), senior pass (ages 60+), or a family pass. In addition, all passes (daily, punch cards, and memberships) now include the water slides at both pools and the hot tub at the Orchard Mesa Pool.
