[ARCHIVED] Santa Cause 5K Run

Santa Cause Run

Celebrate the holiday season at the 6th Annual Santa Cause Run on Saturday, December 11th. Grand Junction Parks & Recreation and the Kiwanis Club are teaming up to help raise money for inclusive playground equipment. All proceeds go towards funding for Grand Junction inclusive playground equipment.

Register by Thursday, December 9th to be guaranteed a race day t-shirt or Santa suit. After the deadline, registrations will only be taken on race day. The 5K will start at 10:15 a.m. at the Las Colonias Amphitheater. There will also be a 1K option for kids 11 years and under starting at 10:00 a.m. The first 300 participants will receive a Santa suit or a race day t-shirt to wear during the race.

This past summer, a wheelchair accessible swing was installed at Canyon View Park thanks to money raised through the Santa Cause Run!
