The City of Grand Junction is in the midst of developing a Master Plan for Horizon Park. Horizon Park is located at 731 27 Road, directly west of Fire Station #6. This undeveloped park is 13 acres, surrounded by residential development, and is appropriate for a neighborhood-serving community park. Community input is a critical part of determining the future of this park and the City of Grand Junction wants to hear from you.
A total of three public meetings will be conducted for this Master Plan. The first meeting was held on October 5. Attendees provided input on what amenities they would like to see at the park. During the second meeting on November 9, two concept plans were shared with attendees. Attendees had the opportunity to pick their favorite plan and provide additional input. If you couldn't join us at the second meeting, visit gjpr.org/horizonpark by Tuesday, November 16, to view the concept plans and provide feedback.
Join us at the final public meeting:
- Date: Tuesday, December 14
- Time: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
