To improve the customer experience for our customers, the City of Grand Junction is moving utility billing and the General Services Department (which includes the Purchasing Division) to a new location at 910 Main Street in downtown Grand Junction. The City of Grand Junction purchased a property in late 2021.
The purchase of the building and property at 910 Main Street will provide the City with a location that will better serve residents that presently pay bills in person and conduct other routine financial transactions at City Hall. In addition to the advantageous layout of the building, which includes a drive-up teller window, the property, unlike City Hall has off-street parking and non-metered on street parking. City offices located in downtown areas help support economic activity and create a sense of community due to their central location.
On January 3, 2022, Utility Billing and the General Services Department will relocate to the new office location at 910 Main Street.
As a reminder, e-billing is available 24/7 for all City of Grand Junction Utilities customers. Purchasing and bid information can also still be accessed online.
