[ARCHIVED] Projects Affecting Traffic for the Week of May 3, 2021

City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions      

Riverfront at Dos Rios Phase 2 Project (8/17/20 to 6/17/21) 

  • The section of the Colorado riverfront trail between Fairview Avenue (within the Riverside neighborhood), south to the newly installed Dos Rios restroom structure, will remain closed until May 24th
  • Please follow the well-marked detour route. Hale Avenue shall not be used as an alternative route and is currently closed to all traffic

Non-City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions      

1st Street Between North Avenue and Grand Avenue, Gas Line Replacement Project – Xcel Energy

  • Cleanup and restoration of 1st Street will take place during the day for the next two weeks
  • Short delays can be expected
  • Anticipated completion - May 7

E Road Reconstruction between 31 Road and 32 Road – Mesa County

  • Expect full road closures with a well-marked detour route at various locations
  • Resident access will be maintained
  • Alternate route advised
  • Work hours: Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Anticipated Completion - November 2021

Hwy 340 (Broadway) Culvert Improvements – CDOT

  • Construction is taking place between Canary Ln. and Dressell Dr.
  • Expect intermittent closures
  • Work hours will be Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

12 Road North of Hwy 6 & 50, Utility Construction – Ute Water

  • 12 Road is closed to thru traffic
  • A detour route will be in place
  • The road will open on evenings and weekends
  • Anticipated Completion – Early July

O Road between 12 Road and 13 Road, Utility Construction – Ute Water 

  • O Road is closed to thru traffic
  • A detour route will be in place
  • The road will open on evenings and weekends
  • Anticipated Completion – Early July
