City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions      

Riverfront at Dos Rios Phase 2 Project (8/17/20 to 6/17/21) 

  • River Front Trail within the Riverside neighborhood will remain closed until May 24, please follow the well-marked detour                  

Annual Fire Hydrant Flushing Program – City Crews

  • Please slow down in areas where City crews are working
  • Minor street flooding may occur
  • Anticipated Completion – April 30 

Non-City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions      

1st Street Between North Avenue and Grand Avenue, Gas Line Replacement Project – Xcel Energy

  • 1st Street will be closed at night from North Avenue to Grand Avenue, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
  • A detour route will be in place
  • 1st Street will remain open every day between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. with no delays anticipated
  • Anticipated completion - early May

E Road Reconstruction between 31 Road and 32 Road – Mesa County

  • Expect full road closures with a well-marked detour route at various locations
  • Resident access will be maintained
  • Alternate route advised
  • Work hours: Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Anticipated Completion - September 

Hwy 340 (Broadway) Culvert Improvements – CDOT

  • Construction is taking place between Canary Ln. and Dressell Dr.
  • Expect intermittent closures
  • Work hours will be Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

G Road Power Pole Renovation Project Between 26 ½ Road and 27 Road – GRAND VALLEY POWER

  • Possible alternating one-lane traffic through the work zone 
  • Expect delays
  • Work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Anticipated Completion – Late April

12 Road North of Hwy 6 & 50, Utility Construction – Ute Water

  • 12 Road is closed to thru traffic
  • A detour route will be in place
  • The road will open on evenings and weekends
  • Anticipated Completion – Early July

O Road between 12 Road and 13 Road, Utility Construction – Ute Water 

  • O Road is closed to thru traffic
  • A detour route will be in place
  • The road will open on evenings and weekends
  • Anticipated Completion – Early July
