[ARCHIVED] Start Planning for Summer with Parks & Recreation’s Summer Camp Program

Summer Camp Guide

Summer is right around the corner and Grand Junction Parks & Recreation is gearing up for the season with the Summer Camp Guide, now available online at gjpr.org/summercamps.

The guide provides all the information families need before Summer Camp registration opens on Monday, March 1. Readers can see what programs are being offered and the required camp paperwork to register. Parks & Recreation recommends families fill out the required paperwork prior to registration opening. All camp information and required paperwork can be found at gjpr.org/summercamps.

This summer, families can choose from a variety of different camp programs including parks and recreation’s Little Sunshines Camp for ages 5-6, SCORE Camp and STARS Camp for ages 7-14, and Tween Camp for ages 11-14. Each camp is designed for the age group and focuses on different activities including field trips and day excursions around the Grand Valley. These camps are offered all summer long with the first week starting on Monday, May 25. Don’t wait too long, start planning for summer now!

For questions regarding summer camps, please reach out to Parks and Recreation by calling 970-254-3866 or emailing gjparksandrec@gjcity.org.
