The City of Grand Junction is excited to host the 23rd Annual Western Colorado Senior Games from August 19 - 25, 2024. This highly anticipated event invites athletes aged 50 and more to participate in a week-long competition featuring a diverse array of games and activities held in various parks and facilities throughout the city. While registration remains open until August 9, 2024, at 5 p.m., early bird registration (which includes a t-shirt) ends Friday, July 26 at 5 p.m. Detailed information about the Senior Games schedule of events and registration.
Senior Games events include basketball, billiards, horseshoes, pickleball, a 5k walk or run, and more.
“Having been a staple in the community for more than 20 years, the Western Colorado Senior Games is renowned for fostering competitive fun and camaraderie among older adults,” stated Ken Sherbenou, Parks and Recreation director. “This year’s event will also feature a health fair, offering participants valuable insights into health and wellness as well as various health services and educational opportunities.”
