Picture of the Lincoln Park parking lot.

Lincoln Park will be a hub of activity on the 4th of July.  Moyer Pool will offer extended hours from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a special admission fee of $2.48 commemorating the 248th birthday of our nation. Pickleball players can enjoy the courts until noon. The Grand Junction Jackalopes have a game scheduled for 5:35 p.m., followed by the City of Grand Junction fireworks display at 9:45 p.m.  Citizens should be aware of the following details for their trip to Lincoln Park:

  • The parking lot will close once it reaches full capacity and becomes unsafe for additional vehicles to enter.
  • Ride share and ADA drop-off and pick up will remain available.
  • Expect road closures, lane reductions, and increased traffic congestion during and following the fireworks presentation.
  • It is encouraged that personal fireworks be left at home.
