City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions

2024 Sewer Replacement Project

• Patching from 18th St. & Elm St. to 15th St. & Glenwood Ave.
• Patching from Gunnison Ave. west of 28 ½ to East dead end

Riverside Waterline Replacement Project

• Hale Ave., Park Ave., Fairview Ave., and Ute Ave. are being patched
• Resident access will be maintained

Ute and Pitkin Waterline Replacement Project

• Expect lane closures from 1st St. & Main St. to 4th St. & Pitkin Ave.

F1/2 Parkway Phase One Construction

• 24 1/2 Rd. will be reopened for the month of May

Non-City Projects with Travel Restrictions

Xcel Project at 25 Rd. and Foresight Cir.

• Foresight Cir. at 25 Rd. will be closed, detours will be put in place
• Access to businesses will be maintained
• Expect delays and longer than normal commute times

Highline Fiber Project

• 1st and Orchard North on West ROW (right of way) to Patterson, West to 25 ½ on South ROW-Shoulder work and lane shifts all week
• 7th and Orchard South to North Ave. on East ROW, West to 1st St. On North ROW - Shoulder work and lane shifts all week
• Alley between Ouray and Chipeta Ave. from 12th St. to 14th St. will be closed Monday and Tuesday
• 12th St. and Gunnison Ave. North on East ROW to Teller Ave. - Reduced to one lane from Wednesday through Friday
• 28 ½ Rd. and Elm Ave. East ROW heading North on Monday - Shoulder work
• N. 17th St. and Grand Ave. South on West ROW to Main St. - Reduced to one lane Monday through Friday
• Poplar and Independent crossing Independent then East on South ROW - Lane shift Wednesday through Friday
• 28 Rd. And Elm heading South on West ROW - Shoulder work Monday through Tuesday
• 12th and Mesa heading South on East ROW to Elm - Shoulder work Wednesday through Thursday

Riverfront Trail Work

• Riverfront Trail at Las Colonias East of dog park will have short detours posted. 
• Work should be complete on May 31

US 6 North Ave. Traffic Signal Replacement Project

• Signal replacements at intersections of North Ave. and 5th St., North Ave. and 23rd St., and North Ave. and 28 Rd.
• Single lane and shoulder closures at these intersections Monday-Thursday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Expect delays
• Night work will be conducted for mounting signals - There will be intermittent full closures (expect 10 minute delays)
