City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions

2024 Sewer Replacement Project 

• Glenwood Ave. between 18th St. and 15th St. will be open to traffic with graveled temporary patches 
• Expect traffic impacts on Cagney Ct. for paving operations Monday and Tuesday 

Riverside Waterline Replacement Project 

• Hale Ave., Park Ave., Fairview Ave., and Ute Ave. will be patched in April 
• Resident access will be maintained 

Ute and Pitkin Waterline Replacement Project 

• Expect lane closures from 1st St. & Main St. to 4th St. & Pitkin Ave. 

F1/2 Parkway Phase One Construction 

• 24 Rd. will be reopened for the month of May 

Non-City Projects with Travel Restrictions 

Xcel Project at 25 Rd and Foresight Cir.

• Foresight Cir. at 25 Rd. will be closed, detours will be put in place 
• Access to businesses will be maintained 
• Expect delays and longer than normal commute times 

Highline Fiber Project

• Expect traffic impacts on Poplar Dr. and Independent Ave. crossing Independent Ave. then moving to the south side. Traffic will be reduced to 1 lane 400’ east on Independent Ave. Monday through Wednesday 
• Expect traffic impacts at 9th St. and Orchard Ave. heading east on the north right of way to 11th St. and Orchard Ave.  Traffic will be reduced to 1 lane Monday through Friday  
• Expect traffic impacts at 6th St. and North Ave. heading west on the north right of way to 1st St. Traffic will be reduced to 1 lane Monday through Friday  
• Expect traffic impacts at 13th St. and Elm Ave. heading west on the north right of way to 12th St. Traffic will be reduced to 1 lane Monday and Tuesday 
• Expect traffic impacts at 12th St. and North Ave. heading south on the east right of way to Gunnison Ave. Lanes will be shifted Wednesday through Friday  
• Expect traffic impacts at 15th St. and Glenwood Ave. heading east along the north right of way to 16th St. on Monday and Tuesday  
• Expect traffic impacts at 28 Rd. and Elm Ave. heading south on the east right of way to Kennedy Ave. Traffic will be reduced to 1 lane Wednesday through Friday  
• The alley between Hall Ave. and Gunnison Ave. crossing 12th St.  will have a lane closure Monday and Tuesday
