Beginning Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 9 a.m., Grand Junction residents can go online to request two seedlings that will be delivered to their home address by volunteers from Grand Junction’s Forestry Board and Mesa County’s Master Gardner program. Those deliveries will occur on Wednesday and Thursday, April 24 and 25, 2024. Online seedling request form
The seedling delivery sign up form goes live on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 9 a.m., at which time residents can select the type of tree seedling they prefer. Available tree species. Supplies are limited and requests are filled on a first-come first-served basis.
The annual Arbor Day celebration will take place during the Southwest Arbor Fest starting at 9 a.m. in Lincoln Park on Saturday, April 27, 2024. While supplies last, seedlings will also be available that day at the entrance to the Lincoln Park pool.
