City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions Riverfront at Dos Rios Phase 2 Project (8/17/20 to 6/17/21) Be aware of construction activities around the bicycle playground, access to the bike park from Riverside Parkway will remain open during construction The existing asphalt surface of Riverside Drive, south of Hale Avenue, has been permanently removed. No vehicle access shall be allowed south of Hale Riverfront Trail may be closed at times. Follow well-marked detour around construction activities Annual Leaf Removal Program - City Wide Please slow down and use caution in areas where City Crews are working Anticipated Completion – Late December Hale Avenue - Utility Work Hale Avenue will be closed between Park Avenue and Lawrence Avenue Detour route will be in pace Anticipated completion - Mid to late December Non-City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions E Road Reconstruction between 31 Road and 32 Road - Mesa County Expect full road closures with a well-marked detour route at various locations Resident access will be maintained Alternate route advised Work hours: Monday thru Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Anticipated completion: September 2021 33 ½ Road Irrigation Project, between D ½ Road and E ¼ Road – Mesa County Expect full road closures with well-marked detour route in place Resident access will be maintained Alternate route advised Work hours: Monday – Friday, 7am to 5pm Anticipated Completion: December 31 ADA Ramps Phase III - Mesa County Monday, Dec. 7 to Friday, Dec. 11 work will consist of: Westbound right lane closure on Riverside Pkwy. and US 50 off ramp Westbound right lane closure on Main St. from 24th Ct. to 21st St. All intersections will maintain public access Expect intermittent flagging during construction All work is tentatively scheduled based on weather conditions Hwy 340 Culvert Project - CDOT Work is scheduled to begin Dec. 10 and is expected to last until mid June Motorists can expect minimal traffic impacts with occasional single lane closures The bike path will have occasional stops with possible dismount and walking your bike through the work Normal working hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Contact: Greg LeBlanc, Sr. Assistant to the City Manager | 970-244 1557 or gregoryl@gjcity.org
