City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions
24 Road and G Road – Traffic Roundabout Project
- Please be aware of moderate traffic impacts and new lane configurations on 24 Rd. for landscaping
- Be aware of the posted 15 mph speed limit around the 24 Rd. and G Rd. roundabout
- Access to Canyon View Park, Golden Gate Petroleum & Community Hospital will be maintained
2023 Sewer Replacement Project
- 27 Rd. from B ¾ Rd. to Milo Dr. will be closed
- Resident access will be maintained
- Anticipated completion: End of March 2024
- Alternate routes advised
2024 Sewer Replacement Project
- N. 17th St. at Glenwood Ave. will be closed for sewer main
- When open, it will be one lane with flaggers
- Resident access will be maintained
- Anticipated completion: End of March 2024
Riverside Waterline Replacement Project
- Hale Ave., Park Ave., Fairview Ave. and Ute Ave. will be patched in April
- Resident access will be maintained
- Anticipated completion is April 2024
Ute and Pitkin Waterline Replacement Project
- Traffic impacts and lane shifts from 4th St. to 1st St. on Ute Ave. and Pitkin Ave.
- Expect delays
- Alternate routes advised
F ½ Parkway Phase One Construction
- Road closure of 24 ½ Road between F ¼ Rd. To Abas Dr. (F ¾ Rd) beginning on March 6
- Traffic will be detoured around the closure to nearby streets
- Use caution when detouring and expect slower speed limits
Non-City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restriction
1st St. Gas Line Construction – CDOT
- 1st St. between Rood Ave. and Pufferbelly
- 1st St. will have both lanes, but median is still under construction
Xcel Project at 25 Rd and Foresight Cir.
- Foresight Cir. at 25 Rd. closed, detours in place
- Access to businesses will be maintained
- Expect delays and longer than normal commute times
Highline Fiber Project
- 1st St. and Orchard north to Patterson - Possibly moving to 1st and Patterson heading west on South ROW
- 3rd St. And Orchard heading West to 1st St.
- 5th St. And Orchard heading East to 7th St.
- Independence Ave. and 25 ½ heading North to Patterson.
