City of Grand Junction Hosts Seasonal Hiring Events

The City of Grand Junction will host two seasonal job hiring events at the Lincoln Park Barn (910 N. 12th Street). The first will be held on Tuesday, February 13 and the second on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Both events will take place from 2-6 p.m. Interested candidates will have the opportunity to apply, interview, and if selected, be extended a conditional job offer on the spot.

With the spring and summer seasons right around the corner, the city is looking to recruit seasonal workers for several open positions. The jobs include:

  • Summer Camp Leaders
  • Event Staff
  • Golf and Facilities Maintenance
  • Horticulture
  • Irrigation Maintenance
  • Lifeguards
  • Sports Officials 
  • Turf Maintenance
  • Urban Forestry

The positions range in skill level as well as qualification and age requirements. Candidates will be assessed for related experience, equipment, and operation skills.
