City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions
24 Road and G Road – Traffic Roundabout Project
- Eastbound lanes of G Rd. will be closed between 24 Rd. and 24 ½ Rd
- Be aware of the posted 15 mph speed limit around the 24 Rd. and G Rd. temporary roundabout
- Continue to see lane shifts on 24 Rd. from I-70 to Leland Ave.
- Moderate traffic delays can be expected
- Access to Canyon View Park, Golden Gate Petroleum & Community Hospital will always be maintained
Waterline Replacement Project, Phase 2
- 20th St. & 21st St. between Elm Ave. and Orchard Ave. is closed to thru traffic
- Resident access will be maintained
- Anticipated completion – October 2023
30 Rd. Sidewalk Replacement Project
- South and North bound 30 Rd. lane shifts, between E Rd. and D Rd.
- Expect traffic delays, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mon. - Fri.
Non-City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restriction
S. Broadway between 23 Rd. & Easter Hill Dr.– Private Development
- Utility work along with new curb, gutter & sidewalk construction will take place throughout the summer
- Expect intermittent road closures with well-marked detours
- Resident access will be provided
Mesa County Chip Seal Program
- The Following county roads are scheduled to be chip sealed this week (weather dependent):
- River Rd. from Persigo Wastewater Plant west to Frontage Rd. overpass (first part of week)
- H Rd. from 22 Rd. to 23 Rd. (later part of week)
W. Scenic Dr. Drainage Improvement Project (on the Redlands north of Hwy 340)– Mesa County
- Work hours will be Mon. – Fri., 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Expect alternating single lane traffic throughout the duration of project, with up to 10 min. delays
- Resident access will be maintained
- Anticipated completion – September
1st St. Gas Line Construction – CDOT
- 1st St. between Rood Ave. and Pufferbelly
- 1st St. will be reduced to one lane for both south and northbound traffic
- Expect delays
- Anticipated Completion – Mid November
