City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions

24 Road and G Road – Traffic Roundabout Project 

• G Rd will be closed from 24 Rd. to 24 ½ Rd. through 5/26, reopening on the weekends 
• Be aware of the posted 15 mph speed limit around 24 Rd. and G Rd. temporary roundabout  
• Continue to see lane shifts on 24 Rd. from I-70 to Leland Ave. 
• Moderate traffic delays can be expected 
• Access to Canyon View Park, Golden Gate Petroleum & Community Hospital will be maintained 

Sewer Replacement Project (Orchard Mesa)

Pine St. south of Unaweep Ave. will be closed between the hours of 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. through June

• Resident access will be provided

Sanitary Sewer Odor Elimination Project

South bound 5^th St. lane closure in the vicinity of Riverside Pkwy interchange

• Mon. 05/15 only
• Expect delays

Patterson Rd. intersection curb, gutter, and sidewalk replacement project 

• Westbound Patterson Rd. lane closures between Lodgepole St. (30 ¾ Rd. +/-) and 30 Rd. 
• Expect delays

Roadway Crack filling, Mon. – Thur.

1. G Rd. from 25 Rd. to Horizon Dr.
2. Horizon Dr. from G Rd. to 1^st St.

Expect lane shifts and possible delays this week at the following location:

• Westbound Patterson Rd. from 31 Rd. to Shadowbrook Dr. (30 ¾ Rd. +/-) 
  • Expect delays

30 Rd. and E Rd., Utility Construction – Clifton Water

• Waterline construction at the intersection of 30 Rd. and E Rd. 
• Expect delays and possible detours 
• Alternate route advised 
• Anticipated Completion – Mid May 

Front St. & 32 ½ Rd. intersection (Clifton)- Mesa County

• Intersection will be closed for paving Wednesday 5/17
• Detour route will be in place
