Due to predicted weather this weekend, the Water Lights at Night event has been rescheduled to Sunday, October 12, 2025. The event was originally set for Saturday, October 11, 2025.
The event time and location will remain the same, from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Butterfly Pond in Las Colonias Park. Additional details about the event are available online.
Admission is free, and attendees can pre-purchase lantern kits for $8 or a pack of six for $42 in advance of the event. Kits will be available for pick-up on the evening of the event. Attendees are welcome to retrieve lanterns to take home if they can be located after they are launched. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase from food trucks during the event. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic basket, chairs, blankets, and additional activities for kids.
