On August 7, 2025, at approximately 6:30 a.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to the 2800 block of North Avenue for a report of a felony menacing.
Officers received reports of a female swinging a gun and pointing it at people. Officers responded emergent, quickly located the suspect, and secured the weapon. The firearm was a replicate handgun determined to be a BB gun.
The suspect, identified as Diana Digiallonardo (age 37), was taken into custody without further incident. She was transported to the hospital for evaluation and, upon release, was booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on criminal charges of Felony Menacing and Disorderly Conduct.
This is believed to be an isolated incident with no ongoing danger to the community. There is no further information available at this time.
