Grand Junction Parks and Recreation, in partnership with the Grand Junction Commission on Arts and Culture, will host the 10th annual Take Part in Art event on Saturday, June 21, from 10 a.m. to noon at Lincoln Park, 910 N. 12th St. The free event invites participants to explore local arts and culture organizations.
The event will feature hands-on arts and crafts activities, live performances by local groups, giant games, prize drawings, food vendors, and more. Attendees can pick up a Passport to Art to participate in art challenges and enter to win artistic prizes. There will also be opportunities to learn about arts and culture organizations in the area and how to get involved.
