City of Grand Junction Projects with Travel Restrictions

24 Road and G Road – Traffic Roundabout Project

• Please be aware of moderate traffic impacts and new lane configurations on 24 Rd. for landscaping
• Be aware of the posted 15 mph speed limit around the 24 Rd. and G Rd. roundabout
• Access to Canyon View Park, Golden Gate Petroleum & Community Hospital will be maintained

2024 Sewer Replacement Project

• Glenwood closed between 17th and 18th
• When open, one lane is open with flaggers
• Resident access will be maintained
• Alternate route is advised
• Completion in April 2024

Riverside Waterline Replacement Project

• Hale Ave, Park Ave, Fairview Ave and Ute Ave will be patched back in April
• Resident access will be maintained
• Anticipated completion is April 2024

Ute and Pitkin Waterline Replacement Project

• Ute Ave. lane closures and shifts continue between 1st St. and 4th St.
• 2nd St. Closed between Ute and Pitkin
• Milling on Pitkin Ave.

F1/2 Parkway Phase One Construction

• 24 ½ Rd. closed between F 3/8 and Ajay Ave. Follow the detour between F ¼ and F ¾
• Use caution when detouring and expect slower speeds
• Expected full reopening in April 2024

• 1st St. between Rood Ave. and Pufferbelly
• 1st St. will have both lanes, but the median is still under construction

Xcel Project at 25 Rd and Foresight Cir.

• Foresight Cir. at 25 Rd will be closed, detours will be put in place
• Access to businesses will be maintained
• Expect delays and longer than normal commute times

Highline Fiber Project

• 25 ½ to 1st St. Mon. & Tues. lane shifts
• 1st St. and Wellington to Lorey Ct. southbound. One lane will be closed Mon.-Thurs. 
• 7th and Kennedy shoulder work all week
• One lane on Bogart and Independent to Pine and Country Auto Sales all week
• 25 Rd. and Weslo northbound to Industrial Blvd. Lane shift Tues. and Wed.
• 7th and Orchard northbound to Center. Lane shift all week
• 25 Rd. and Patterson north to Foresight Circle. Shoulder work Thur. and Fri.
• North Ave. and 4th westbound to 1st. One lane on Mon. and Tues.
• Expect traffic delays
