City staff will present an update on city park rules and offer community members with an opportunity to provide input. A redesign of the signage in City parks is also underway to help increase clarity and understanding of the rules.
With the redesign, a few changes to the park rules are anticipated. Rules are updated as needed to improve the effectiveness of managing the city’s 35 developed parks.
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will also discuss the updated rules at their next meeting. It is expected that the signage for park rules will be finalized and installed this spring.
