I began writing in the early 1980s when I lived in Los Angeles, and learned my craft from professionals-screenwriters and producers. Over the years, I have been a member of numerous writing/critique groups in different states, and attended a variety writing workshops. I also have served on the board of directors of the Grand Junction Writers’ Cooperative (2008 through 2011), was one of several judges of the Pike’s Peak Writing Contest (2010), edited a newsletter for an art gallery (2008 through 2009), and had a column in the Fruita Times (2001 through 2003).

I am a self-taught commercial photographer. My family is Latvian and immigrated to America when I was a child. I specialize in portrait, nature and landscape fine art prints. My landscape work is centered on images of the Colorado Plateau, Lake Powell, and Alaska. In 2015, I published The Lost Tracks- A Journey of Discovery- the culmination of 12 years of documenting dinosaur tracks at Lake Powell. I have been professionally involved in photography since 1970, and have had my work displayed in a number of shows, galleries and museums both in the United States and Latvia.

Robert A. Tallarico, Bob, is a retired registered professional structural engineer. Throughout his career and primarily as a principal in his Consulting Engineering Firm, he has designed many building structures and bridges in the Denver area and Rocky Mountain Region. Bob's interest in art began in high school as a member of the school art staff which produced a school newspaper, posters, and backdrops for school plays. An early effort at employment at age 16 was thwarted when he applied at a commercial art studio but was too young for professional employment. Math and science soon dominated his interests and led to a career in engineering after serving in the Marine Corps in Korea. Now retired he is once again able to pursue his interest in art as well as writing. He has two published pieces titled 'A Musing' Life's Big Little Stories, and 'Oh My God' from Science to Believer via Science and Theology.
