For more than 20 years, Bob was a Colorado hardrock miner. He mined gold in Silverton, oil shale in Parachute, molybdenum at Berthoud Pass, and uranium in Golden. When mining all but came to a halt, he went to college. Bob started taking ceramic classes as a stress reliever. He soon discovered a great passion in pottery and its firing techniques. He changed his focus to a degree in Fine Arts. Bob enjoys colorful decoration as well as a simple line. He loves to let each piece of work speak to him as he creates.
