Delaney's Safety House is a fun and engaging resource to teach children about home fire safety, home fire drills, and injury and burn prevention in the home. This resource is available throughout Mesa County, and availability is determined by your local Fire Department.

Requesting GJFD at your event
With proper notice, GJFD participates in community events whose primary focus is fire and life safety or free education for the whole family. We are only able to commit vehicles to approved events for an hour or less, as these vehicles and crews are needed to respond to emergencies in our City. We have several resources that may be requested including vehicles, personnel, and Delaney's Safety House.
