    Overview  

    Utilities, Street Systems & Facilities is a title that only hints at the variety of services and stewardship for which this department is responsible.  Our long-term strategic objective is the conservation and stewardship of the City of Grand Junction's natural, manmade, financial, workforce and customer resources.  The foundation blocks of our organization are to provide drinking water, transport and clean sewage, pick up trash, sweep debris from streets, patch potholes, plow snow, prevent flooding and care for the City's substantial investment in buildings.
