Bicycle
This map presents a number of existing routes in Mesa County that are well suited to bicycle use. Many of them offer quick and expedient routes to work or to school; others offer scenic recreational roads allowing cyclists to enjoy riding thorugh beautiful Mesa County
   

 

Map that shows which signals will be added to the Fiber Network by year. Eventually all the traffic signals will be linked to a main computer at the Transportation Engineering Office.
     
This map depicts the emergency response routes identified by the City of Grand Junction Fire and Police Departments as ciritical routes for emergency response.

This map mainly shows the downtown area. Where you can park free, where parking lots are located, and where the meters are located, along with handicap parking. The brochure depicts how much it costs to park, signage, and general information about parking downtown. (Coming Soon)

Master Plan for Future Network of Bike Trails. This plan was created to provide urban trails to connect the Riverside Front Trails & provide pedestrian bike transportation through urban areas .
     

Grand Valley Circulation Plan

(Formerly the Major Street Plan)

Roadway classification map. The map serves to identify both major and minor routes for circulation and connectivity. Existing traffic, anticipated traffic volume growth, and the associated demand on public transportation facilities demonstrates clear evidence of the need for and development of a circulation system for the Urbanizing Area. The owners and developers of the affected parcels will better be able to plan and provide the needed connectivity within and through the affected areas.
     
Truck Route
Primary Truck Routes:These are routes that are to used by trucks that have no origin or destination within the Grand Junction/Mesa County urban area. Secondary Truck Routes: These routes are to be used by trucks that have an origin or destination within the Grand Junction/Mesa County urban areas. Trucks with an origin or destination within the urban areas are requested to remain on these routes until reaching a point closest to their destination. Historic District: The 7th Street Historic District is located on 7th Street between Teller Avenue and White Avenue, and is of great value to the community. Please refrain from using this section of 7th Street except for pickups and deliveries in the area.
     
Traffic Volume Count Map

This map will give you informaiton on the Jurisdiction of the area,(such as City or County) the location, the count, and the date the last count was completed. You can also run reports of the traffic count at a specific location or the entire city.
