Regulations:

Too often, crews find hazardous materials buried in piles of debris. Help us keep our employees safe - please do not place hazardous materials out for Spring Clean-up!

Items intended for pick-up should not be left out any earlier than two-weeks before the Monday the program begins in your area. Items left out before the two-week period are subject to a Notice of Violation and possible $1,000 fine.

Program policy provides for ONE FREE City dump truck load (approx. 10 cubic yards) per residence. If you have more than one dump truck load, all debris will still be removed. However, you will be billed $100 per load for all additional loads after the first one.

We DO NOT pick up tires. However, City residents can drop-off up to 8-passenger car/light pickup truck size tires, per household, on May 8th at the Municipal Service Campus - 333 West Avenue. Drop-off hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Reminders:

  • Crews will make only one trip through your neighborhood, so it's important that all items be ready by 7:00 A.M. on the MONDAY of your pick-up week.
  • If your items are not picked up, a PINK TAG will be attached with the reason noted.
  • Do not place items behind the curb, on grass or landscaped areas - pick ups will not be made from those locations. Except where noted, all items must be placed in the gutter, in front of your address.
  • Crews will not go onto private property to pick up items. To avoid possible damage to private property, please do not place your debris against any buildings, fences, etc. (The City will not be responsible for damage in these situations.)
  • Keep all debris separate from your household trash containers to avoid interruptions to your regularly scheduled weekly trash pick-up.
  • OWNERS - please remind your renters.
  • Please do not use any storage receptacles that you do not want removed (i.e., wheelbarrows, trash cans, tubs, etc). All items in pick up area will be removed.
