Facilities Services is responsible for the maintenance and repair of 20 buildings and other associated structures. Building and plant operations are accomplished with City personnel and contract vendors. Facilities Services also manages and operates the City's Custodial Service as well as maintenance related service contracts. Facilities prepares, plans, and administers the budget for both in-house and contract services for building maintenance related activities.

The main buildings serviced are City Hall, five Fire Stations, Police Station, Municipal Operations Center, Municipal Service Center, Construction Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Senior Recreation Center, Lincoln Park Auditorium, and the Parks and Recreation Administration Building.
