- The Standard Documents for Capital Improvements Construction
is comprised of Standard Forms, Contract Documents, Construction
Specifications, and Standard Details which are made a part
of and included by reference in the Contract Documents for
all Public Works and Utilities construction projects contracted
by the City of Grand Junction.
- The Standard Documents for Capital Improvements Construction
were revised in 2007. New or additional
copies of the Standard Contract Documents may be purchased
for $22 each at City Hall, 250 North 5th Street, Public Works & Planning, Room 245.

Stormwater Management

- The City of Grand Junction has adopted a new Mesa County/City of Grand Junction Stormwater Management Manual in conjunction with Mesa County, the Town of Palisade, the Grand Junction Drainage District, and the City of Fruita. The manual is available for downloading at www.gjcity.org. A free CD of the manual is available at the Public Works and Planning Office at 250 N. 5th Street, Room 245. A hard copy is also available for a cost of $35.00.
- The Mesa County/City of Grand Junction Stormwater Management Manual (SWMM) was prepared by WRC Engineering for the purpose of unifying and consolidating into one document current City and County policy and ordinances pertaining to stormwater runoff. SWMM presents an overview of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to stormwater law and water quality and floodplain regulations. Also presented in the manual are grading and drainage criteria, information regarding drainage fee ordinances and options, along with other information that will help clarify drainage requirements within the City of Grand Junction and Mesa County.
- Grand Valley Stormwater Management Master Plan The Grand
Valley Stormwater Management Master Plan (GV-SWMMP)
was prepared by Williams Engineering for the City of Grand
Junction, Grand Junction Drainage District, and Mesa County
for the purpose of developing a stormwater management master
plan for four watersheds within the Grand Valley. The four
watersheds are Appleton Drain, Buthorn Drain, Leach Creek
above H Road, and Orchard Mesa. The current version
(December 1998 with May 2000 updates) is available for purchase for $95 at City Hall, 250 North 55th Street, Public Works & Utilities, Room 245..
