General Bidding Information
Plans, Specifications, and other
Bid Documents may be reviewed at the Administration Office of the
Department of Public Works and Planning at City Hall, 250 North
5th Street, Room 245. Copies may be obtained for a non-refundable
sum that varies depending on the scope of the Bid Documents.

Pre-qualification of Contractors
Contractors submitting bids over
$50,000 must be pre-qualified in accordance with the City's "Rules
and Procedures for
Pre-qualification of Contractors." All bids received by
the specified time will be opened, but the City will reject bids
over $50,000 from contractors who have not been prequalified. Application
forms for prequalification are available at the Administration Office
of the Department of Public Works and Planning, City Hall, 250 North Fifth Street, Room 245. Call 970-244-1555

Standard Contract Documents
The performance of the Work for Projects shall conform to the General Contract conditions presented in the City of Grand Junction’s Standard Contract Documents for Capital Improvements Construction, revised June 2007, except as specifically modified or supplemented on the Construction Drawings. Standard Contract Documents may also be purchased at the Administration Office
of the Department of Public Works and Utilities, City Hall, 250 North Fifth Street, Room 245. Call 970-244-1555
