When was the last time you tried something
for the first time? Take a chance with the Western Colorado Senior Games. There will be track and
field, swimming, card games, billiards, basketball free
throw and hot shot competitions, and more!
Grand Junction Parks and Recreation partners with the Senior Recreation Center, a multi-purpose facility offering a broad spectrum of services
and activities for seniors ages 55 and older located
at 550 Ouray Avenue. The Center is open Monday thru Saturday
from 8am – 4pm. Whether you are interested in painting,
billiards, bridge, bingo, dancing or social activities,
the Senior Recreation Center is the place for you! Senior
Recreation Center, Inc. is dedicated to providing quality
recreational programs to promote active lifestyle choices
for people in the prime of their lives.
The Senior Recreation Center is owned and
maintained by the Parks and Recreation Department, and programs
within the Center are managed by Senior Recreation Center,
Inc. Membership fees are $5 per person and are valid for the calendar year.
Members are welcome to participate in special activities,
a monthly business meeting, luncheons and other activities.
Some activities require an additional fee.
