The 7th annual SouthWest Arbor Fest, Grand Junction's favorite spring festival will be held on Saturday, April 19. Get your taste buds into action for the chili competition and vote for your favorite. All ages can experience arts and crafts, music, touch-a-truck, food, kareoke, and fun. Arbor Day continues with area experts on hand throughout the day to answer your tree and gardening questions, with tree seedlings for all participants, while supplies last, and educational handouts. For more information on the chili competition or to reserve a booth space please call (970)254-FUNN. All proceeds go to support the Grand Junction Parks and Recreation Program Scholarship Fund.
In celebration of Arborday, the Grand Junction Parks and Recreation Forestery Division wil be giving away seedling trees (while supplies last).
