Lincoln Park Moyer Pool

The City of Grand Junction Parks and Recreation Department operates one seasonal swimming facility from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend. Lincoln Park-Moyer Pool and Water slide is conveniently located in Lincoln Park on the corner of 12th and North Avenue.

This 50 meter outdoor pool features a waterslide, Splash Pad water playground, a 13' diving well with 1 meter and 3 meter diving boards, and a separate, shallow water (2' - 4') instructional tank. The pool has an extensive grass area, concession area, shade shelters, and pool deck furniture. Regulation swim suits are always required, and diapers are not allowed in the water. Floatation devices and toys of reasonable size are permitted in restricted areas of the pool. Lockers are available inside the bathhouse. Instructional classes are offered, and the facility can be rented for private parties during non-public hours. Lap lanes are available during public swim hours, and adult lap swim times are offered 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Wednesday's Free Day

Free admission to Lincoln Park-Moyer Pool will be offered to youth 17 years and younger on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. This free admission is for the pool only; the waterslide is not included. Adults 18 years and older will be required to pay the daily admission fee. Youth accompanied by a paid adult can also get in free from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.

WATERSLIDE IS CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION

The Waterslide journey starts after climbing the 37' high tower with 350 feet of downward twists and turns, providing a thrilling ride to the splash tank below. Sliders must be at least 3'6" tall. The slide is open 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. this session requires pool and slide admission for unlimited rides. , Waterslide Punch cards are available.

Our 35' x 40' Splash Pad integrates play structures and water features into the Lincoln Park - Moyer Pool facility. The Splash Pad is available during public swim time for regular admission price as well as during the morning Learn to Swim program for a reduced rate. This play area is designated for users under 3'6". Non toilet trained participants must wear a swim diaper while in the play area.

View our daily public swim hours on the Lincoln Park Moyer Pool and Waterslide calendar. Special Wednesday "Free Day" (for youth 17 years and younger) hours are 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Don't forget to check out all our other aquatic special events.

Daily Admission fees are: Infant $1.00; Youth and Senior $3.50; Adult $4.75. The Waterslide Daily Rate for morning and afternoon sessions $2.50 for unlimited rides, or $1.25 for a single ride. Admission Specials: A Family special rate for the pool and slide of $14.00 is extended after 5:00 p.m. each evening and all day on Sunday. A special Pool and Slide Daily rate is $4.75 each night after 5:00 p.m. and all day on Sunday. Season pool passes and punch cards are available for discounts over daily admission.

Swimming lessons are offered during the summer swim season, in several sessions. Specific information can be obtained in the summer edition of the Parks & Recreation Activity Guide, which will be available for pick up at Parks & Recreation Department at 1340 Gunnison Avenue, or on the related link on this site on May 10.
