Grand Junction Fire Department
Honor Guard

GJFD Honor Guard Members (L-R): Engineer Ted Weber, Firefighter Chuck Thomas, Firefighter Cory Black, Firefighter John Bangert, Firefighter Brian Gies, Firefighter Brian Clark, Firefighter Carl Warren, and Firefighter AJ Fry

The Honor Guard is the Grand Junction Fire Department's representative at memorial services, funerals, and any other function authorized/requested by the Fire Chief. The Honor Guard will respond to requests from both current and retired Grand Junction Fire Department members in any way possible. The goal is to represent all members of the Grand Junction Fire Department in the highest degree of honor, dignity, dedication, professionalism, and loyalty as possible.
We endeavor to honor firefighters in life, as well as death, and to display the best possible image to the entire community. In addition to funerals and memorial services the honor guard may be called upon to post colors, march in parades, fire victims funerals, assist families during a time of need and stand guard at funeral homes.

If you would like more information regarding the GJFD's Honor Guard you may contact Chuck Thomas, or call 970-244-1400.
